Croatian member Telecentar is organising International e-Facilitator Summer School in Rovinj next week, on June 22-28. The school will welcome both e-Facilitators and project coordinators and will offer two learning tracks for each. Telecentar’s e-Facilitator Summer School is supported by Telecentre Europe.
An e-Facilitator is a member of educational staff for ICT competences working in telecentres, a person who guides and mentors people coming to use computers and the Internet.
At the summer school e-Facilitators will get involved in a series of workshops on mobile technology and media skills – audio, video, and editing – following Telecentre Multimedia Academy (TMA) program.
The track for coordinators will focus on discussing topics relevant for telecentres, like media literacy, coding for kids, social innovation, and life skills. Digital Agenda and Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs will also be addressed as part of the program. In addition, coordinators will have a chance to participate in the round table of the Croatian National Coalition for Digital Jobs (interpreting will be provided).
Telecentre Europe will join the school and present the guidelines on the Professional Recognition and Development of e-Facilitators as well as the position paper titled “Digital skills and inclusion through e-facilitators”.
The school aims to set an informal and relaxed atmosphere for the participants to learn, exchange their ideas and plan new projects and partnerships. A field trip to Crveni otok (Red Island) near Rovinj will let everyone to explore Croatia as well.
